A HUALI CABINET AND STAND
EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The main body with two doors set between two stacked drawers above and a single, recessed drawer below, the whole raised on a separate, waisted pedestal base with shaped apron and splayed feet, carved allover in high relief with dragons shown either full face or in profile amidst a dense ground of swirling waves, all within angular scroll borers, the top inscribed with a more simplified rendition of the same motif and the back plain within raised borders, with bronze mounts and small twin-fish handles
