The deep conical body curving slightly inwards near the rim, covered inside and out with a milky turquoise glaze shading to a darker tone on the interior below the mushroom-colored rim and on the exterior where the thick glaze ends in an irregular line to expose the fine-grained ware burnt reddish-brown in the firing
