Freely painted with a design of lotus scroll, the scrolling stems in iron red, the leaves in green and the large blossoms alternately painted in underglaze blue and iron-red, below a band of ruyi heads scattered on a basketweave ground encircling the neck below the bulbous mouth molded and painted with overlapping layers of lotus petals, all within linear boders in pale underglaze blue, hair crack, ground mouth rim
