The elongated body molded with three registers of overlapping petals, each leaf in the top register painted with one of the Eight Immortals, the middle row with female musicians playing different instruments and the bottom row with maidens or jardinieres, all within double line borders below a row of detached flower sprigs and a herringbone band on the shoulder, and branches of various flowers on the neck, the domed cover decorated with six flower-filled petals below a knop finial
