Most of the recorded multi-necked vases appear to be formed from a number of bodies grouped around a central vase rather than in this example where there is one body with separate necks rising from the shoulder. For a celadon-glazed example of the former see Sotheby's, Hong Kong, November 1/2, 1994, lot 113 and for an example of the latter, but of more elongated form, see The Special Exhibition of K'ang-hsi, Yung-cheng and Ch'ien-lung Porcelain Ware from the Ch'ing Dynasty in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1986, Catalogue, no. 65
