Thinly potted, with deep, rounded sides flaring towards the slightly everted rim, the exterior covered with an opaque glaze of even, rose-pink tone

Pink-glazed bowls appear to be rare, and examples with deep, rounded sides particularly so. A similar, though smaller, example in the National Palace Museum, was included in The Special Exhibition of Qing Monochromes, Taipei, 1981, Catalogue, p. 49, no. 12.
