The first carved in the form of a monkey tying a rope around the shell of a turtle on which he is sitting, the turtle curling its head in protest, signed on the base Shomin, the second of boxwood modelled as a crouching man, turning his head and grimacing as a rat climbs over his shoulder--1¾ and 2in. (4.5 and 5.1cm.) high (2)
