TWO LACQUER INRO AND A NETSUKE

Comprising: a four-case inro, signed Jokasai, decorated in iro-e takamaki-e on a black ground applied with hirame and kimpun with a male and female pheasant perched on flowering plum branches, the interior cases nashiji, and fitted with a wood netsuke carved in the form of a puppy; a three-case gold lacquer inro, signed Kajikawa Hidetaka patterned in gold and silver takamaki-e and aogai with minogame in a stream, the interior cases nashiji, and fitted with an ivory netsuke carved as a tortoise and a lacquer bead netsuke; and a large negoro lacquer netsuke modelled as a seated shishi, eyes inlaid in metal--3 1/8, 2½in. (7.9, 6.4cm.) high, 2¾in. (7cm.) long, small nicks, some surface wear (3)
