With raised himotoshi decorated with stylized foliage, one inro depicts a macaque, bolstered against a mother-of-pearl temple column, clasping a rope to which is tethered a black horse being attacked by a gold fox, some wear and rubbing, unsigned; with raised nashiji himotoshi, the second inro is decorated in red takamaki-e with spiny lobsters with mother-of-pearl feelers, rubbed, unsigned (2)
