Of oval section decorated in togidashi, hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, kimpun and kirigane with a continuous landscape representing the progression of the Tokaido road, the stations identified by small, rectangular roiro and gold lacquer labels, the trees and the crown of Mt. Fuji rendered in silver lacquer and the interior cases nashiji; fitted with an ivory netsuke in the form of a crouching puppy and a bead ojime--3 5/8in. (9.3cm.) high
