The small, rectangular inro decorated with gold plovers flying over baskets of stones and waves, the plovers rendered in takamaki-e in gold, the waves brown lacquer and the sky roiro, the interior cases roiro-nuri; fitted with a wood manju netsuke inlaid in mother of pearl with butterflies and flowering vines, signed Shibayama and a bead ojime--2¼in. (5.7cm.) high
