Of rectangular form fitted with a hinged door opening to reveal three drawers, decorated on the exterior in gold and silver takamaki-e with wisteria vines on a ground of deep brownish black lacquer, the drawers and inside of the door decorated with gold birds and florets on a matching ground dusted with nashiji, the interiors of the drawers and the base nashiji, handle, pulls and hinges silver--5 1/8 x 3 5/8 x 3 7/8in.
