With a thick, ring foot, the deep bowl painted in overglaze enamels, red and gilt with the Sixteen Rakan, each in elaborately brocaded robes and holding his particular attribute and set against a background of clouds, the interior painted with a large, formalized flowerhead covering the cavetto and surrounded by two golden, celestial dragons 'disputing' the 'flaming pearl'--14 7/8in.
