A SPLIT SHAKUDO/IRON OMORI STYLE TSUBA
LATE EDO-MEIJI PERIOD (LATE 19TH CENTURY)
Nadekakugata with shakudo omote and iron ura, the guard is carved with waves highlighted with silver whitecaps and applied with a large copper octopus, the ura applied with shakudo and copper fishes and a gilt basket, inscribed Omori Hidemitsu; height 9cm.
