A GERMAN THREE PIECE SILVER TETÉ-A-TETÉ TEA SERVICE WITH MATCHING COFFEE POT ON SALVER, 19th century, the coffee pot stamped SCHALLMAYER, comprising teapot, coffee pot, two lion's mask drop ring handled covered sugar basin and cream jug, each inverted pear form with straight sided shoulder, on domed square pedestal base, the shoulder flat chased with band of alternate flower and paired loops on matted ground, centering twice vacant shield form cartouche, the pots with scroll spout, angular wood handle, with waisted neck, the detachable partly domed cover topped by silver mounted wood button finial--the coffee pot 8in. (20.3cm.) high, the circular salver with conforming gallery to shoulder of service, on four ball feet, with two lion's mask drop ring handles--9¾in. (24.7cm.) diam., gross weight 62oz. (5)
