A VICTORIAN SCOTTISH FOUR PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, maker's mark of Hamilton & Inches, Edinburgh, 1898, the coffee pot 1899, comprising teapot, squat spouted, baluster coffee pot, two handled sugar bowl and cream jug, in the rococo taste, each inverted pear form, on spreading circular base, the body chased with trailing flowering foliage, quartered by paired swirled flutes, enclosing two sides shaped oval cartouche, one engraved with crest and motto, with applied gadrooned moldings, the pots with wood scroll handle, the hinged low domed cover topped by foliate cluster finial--the coffee pot 11in. (27.9cm.) high, gross weight 64oz. (4)
