A GEORGE IV SILVER TWO HANDLED COVERED SOUP TUREEN, maker's mark of Samuel Dutton, London, 1824, the oval body raised on four lion's paw supports issuing very broad inverted acanthus joins, coat of arms, helm and crest, the two elaborate foliate shell loop handles with floral joins, with everted applied palmette and lotus decorated rim, the molded low domed cover engraved with crest, the foliate shell ring handle rising from an acanthus calyx--length over handles 16in.
