OAKLEY, ANNIE (1860-1926). Large cabinet photograph inscribed and signed ("Annie Oakley"), by Duryer, Newark, N.J. (imprint on mount), n.d. [circa 1906]. 226 x 150 mm. (8 7/8 x 5 7/8 in.) including mount, minor foxing at right, some soiling to mount. A full-length standing portrait of the sharp-shooter taking aim, inscribed on the lower mount: "Compliments of Annie Oakley 2. 19. 1906."

An international sensation travelling with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, she could split a playing card held on edge at thirty paces.
