PATTON, Gen. GEORGE S. (1885-1945). Photograph inscribed and signed ("G S Patton"), n.p., n.d. [circa 1945]. 246 x 199 mm. (9 11/16 x 7 7/8 in.) including margins, some pale staining on right portion of the image, minor surface damage (from tape removal?); matted. A half-length portrait of Patton in uniform and helmet, inscribed on the lower portion of the image: "There is a little church out in California where I was baptised and confirmed. God has been very good to me and I'd like to go there and give thanks to Him. G S Patton."
