The first pair each oval, on four lion's paw feet headed by acanthus, with two leaf-capped reeded upswept open handles, the gadrooned rim wtih acanthus at intervals, the domed cover with calyx of acanthus and leaf-capped scroll handle, engraved with armorials, the second pair each lobed oval, on four shell and scroll feet, with two rocaille and oak leaf upswept open handles, the shaped rim gadrooned and with acanthus and anthemion at intervals, the lobed domed cover applied with twisted foliate open handle surmounting foliage, and with a slot for a spoon, engraved with a crest, apparently unmarked
