MAKER'S MARK OF PAVEL OVCHINNIKOV WITH IMPERIAL WARRANT, MOSCOW, CIRCA 1890

The oval bowl enamelled overall in the old Russian style with scrolling foliage, on spreading conforming base engraved with the Russian inscription "To dear Trifon Konstantinovitch Chokov, from the thankful Konstantin, Anna, and Catherine Popov" above an enamelled band, with similarly enamelled flat shaped handles supported by winged cockerels, the whole set with faceted and cabochon stones
