A RUSSIAN GEM-SET GOLD-MOUNTED BANDED HARDSTONE SCENT-FLASK
MAKER'S MARK OF FABERGE IN ROMAN LETTERING, WORKMASTER AUGUST HOLLMING, ST. PETERSBURG BEFORE 1899, WITH LATER AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN IMPORT MARK FOR 1901-1921 AND A CONTINENTAL OVERSTRIKE FOR 18K
In the form of a covered jar, the neck and hinged cover wrapped in gold textured to imitate burlap, and bound with a twisted rope set with a diamond brilliant and cabochon sapphire, (the hardstone body possibly a replacement) the opening to reveal a small opening fitted with a glass stopper
