designed by adolf beckert for k. & k. fachshule steinscönau, circa 1916
The bowl with gilded rim, the lower body gilded and enameled in black with stylized foliate decoration above cut decoration on a yellow ground, the upper body gilded and enameled in black with stylized butterfly decoration interrupted by cut and gilded decoration, the bowl supported on a tapered, faceted foot with gilded and enameled border decoration
5 3/8in. (13.7cm.) high, 7 5/8in. (19.4cm.) diameter of bowl
