Signed and dated in pencil on the mount; titled, annotated A Poster in Angles, Property of Paul Outerbridge, Jr. 49 West 74th Street, New York City in ink with Laguna Beach Art Association label and typed label with notation: "Pierrot" An arrangement of three disconnected areas within a rectangle. Designed and painted fabric of costume myself and made use of my wife's head with heavy black tempera color makeup to enlarge mouth, etc. affixed to the reverse of the mount. 4½ x 3½in. Framed.
