Acis and Galatea

The present painting is datable to circa 1685 by comparison with the artist's Bacchus and Ariadne in the Chrysler Museum, Norfolk, VA (O. Ferrari and G. Scavizzi, Luca Giordano, 1992, I, p. 317, no. A395 and II, fig. 532).
