CIRCA 1755-1785, RED ANCHOR MARKS TO SOME PIECES
Painted in colours with fruit and insects within feather-moulded rims enriched in green or turquoise and iron-red, wear to painting, minor rim chips, comprising:
A Derby oval dish, unmarked, 10½in. (26.7cm.) long
Four Derby dishes, three with red anchor marks, one cracked half-way around the circumference of the well, 8½in. (21.5cm.) diam.
Six Chelsea/Derby dishes with faceted wells, all with brown anchor marks, 8¼in. (21cm.) diam.
A Derby dish with faceted well, unmarked, 8 7/8in. (22.5cm.) diam.
Four shell-shaped dishes of later date, unmarked, one chipped, 8in. (20.3cm.) long
