See Elizabeth Parke Firestone Collection, Christie's New York, 21-22 March 1991, Lots 225-228 for other pieces with this decoration. This pattern, used at Sèvres as early as 1756, was made famous by the service given to the Elector Palatine in 1760 and now in the Residenz Museum, Munich.

Pierre-Joseph Rosset was active as a painter at Sèvres 1753-1795.
