The cup of flaring cylindrical form with swan-head scroll handle, finely painted in colours with a kneeling Cupid offering a dog a bowl of water within a landscape vignette with a pink rose bush at the left, the saucer inscribed 'Wo Liebe, Freue, Freundschaft und Natur In frommer Eintracht wohnen ist der Himel' , both within gilt bands, wear to gilding on saucer and curve of cup handle
