The offered figure, with the Chiparus inscription, appears to be very similar in style to other figures modeled by Chiparus. In particular, the raised ribbing of the figure's body suit is very reminscent of Chiparus's Dancer of Kapurthala and the detail of the blouse of Les Amis de Toujours which is offered in this sale, lot 22.
