The shallow, domed shade composed of iridescent blue glass shading to teal and mottled purple around the edges, the shade surmounted by a bronze frieze cast as six peacocks separated by acorn and leaf branches in copper and gilt patinas, the peacocks with fanned tails, the 'eyes' of the feathers in vibrant mosaic glass in shades of iridescent amber and blue, supported by heavy ribbed links, the perimeter of the circular ceiling cap set with blue iridescent glass "jewels"
