Fine engraved title-page and frontispiece portrait of Elizabeth by Rob. Vaughan (Johnson 55); WITH THE RARE ENGRAVED PORTRAIT OF D'ARCIE inserted at end. Three parts in one, 4to, contemporary calf, covers with gilt and blind-tooled borders surrounding central square portrait medallion of Queen Elizabeth in gilt, holding sceptre and orb, spine gilt with Tudor rose device in each compartment, g.e., rebacked with original backstrip laid down, a few corners repaired, some wear; lacking Kkk4 (but with 2 unsigned leaves "To the Reader" before [B] apparently from another copy [one leaf with gutter margin renewed]) small inkstain on Pp4, endpapers renewed. First Edition in English of the first three books of Camden's Annales, later state of the title-page, with Darcie's name not present, with Fisher's address and the date present.
