OLIVER HARDY
The comedian's trademark black felt bowler hat. O. Hardy is typed on a Twentieth-Century Fox tag on the inside lining and is adorned with an ornamental pin featuring the letter H. Some weakening along the crown of the hat. Conserved by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Two circa 1920s black and white photographs of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy are included: one is signed on the front in black ink Stan, Oliver and on the reverse Best Wishes from Laurel Babe Hardy 1933; the other features the comedians seated in the back of a wagon, signed Oliver, Stan--10 x 8 and smaller.
