A GEORGE III SILVER TEA-URN, maker's mark of S. Hennell & J. Terrey, London, 1813, urn form, on waisted rectangular pedestal base raised on four paterae and foliate headed paw supports, chased with lobed moldings, the front engraved with coat-of-arms and motto, the panelled spout with dolphin ended multi scroll and wood handle, with two upcurved foliate wrapped handles, the everted collar applied with foliate shell and gadrooned band, the crest engraved low domed, detachable, cover topped by fluted oblong wood finial, inset with pierced and covered pig compartment--14in. (35.5cm.) high, gross weight 143.5oz.
