During 1984 Ayrton Senna had his first full season in Formula 1 driving for the Toleman Team; starting 13th on the grid during the rain deluged race at Monaco, he skillfully worked his way up to cross the line first when the race was stopped prematurely; Alain Prost being declared the winner, as the leader on the preceding lap.
