Details
1925 STUTZ SPEEDWAY SIX FOUR DOOR SEDAN
Chassis No. 11605
Red and black.
Engine: six cylinder, in-line, 4.7 liters, 288.6 ci, 80 bhp; Gearbox: three speed manual; Brakes: mechanical; Suspension: semi-elliptic springs. Left hand drive.
The Speedway Six models were Stutz's mainstay line prior to the arrival in 1926 of Frederick E. Moskovics as president of the company. Moskovics brought with him a vision of building eight cylinder motorcars, beginning with the Vertical Eight, and from 1926 onward until the firms end in 1935, straight eights would dominate the Stutz offerings.
This particular car is in unrestored, original condition throughout and represents an oppurtunity to acquire an example of the illustrious Stutz marque at a modest outlay.
