1923 STUTZ KLDH TOURING CAR

Chassis No. 13424
Green and black.

Engine: four cylinder in line, T-head, 360.8ci, 80bhp; Gearbox: three speed manual; Brakes: Mechanical, internal expanding; Suspension: semi-elliptic springs. Left hand drive.

The KLDH series cars were the last to use the Stutz-designed and built T-head engines. Boasting four valves per cylinder, these monobloc engines gave a very tidy appearance under the hood and developed 80bhp--eight more horses than their great racing and road rival, the L-head four cylinder Mercer.

This car is in generally fair unrestored condition. The interior will need a total restoration. When properly restored, this motor car has the potential of being a pleasant, high quality, comfortable long distance tourer as well as a potential class winner at major meets of national clubs.
