1919 STUTZ SERIES G SPORT TOURING CAR

Chassis No. 3658

Engine: four cylinder, in-line, T-head, 360.8ci, 80bhp; Gearbox: three speed manual; Brakes: mechanical, internal expanding; Suspension: semi-elliptic springs. Right hand drive.

This close-coupled four passenger touring represents one of the second generation of Stutz cars with its factory-designed and built monobloc T-head engine using four valves per cylinder.

The body and fenders are straight and good, the radiator shell has been plated incorrectly with chrome and the interior is poor, with an incorrect front seat cushion. Top is intact and good for patterns.

The older amateur repaint is fair to poor and generally, the car is in need of restoration work in all areas. Enhancing the cars' appearance are Rudge-Whitworth wire wheels and dual spotlights.
