One of the last of the legendary Springfield Silver Ghosts built and delivered, this motorcar embodies all the incremental improvements Rolls-Royce of America developed over the years for this model, such as four wheel brakes.

Adding to its allure is the handsome roadster body by Merrimac as originally fitted to the car for its first owner, Countess Carla Filipponi, a Chicago resident.

Presently, the car is showing signs of long storage in the Miller barn. Paint is flaking from the aluminum body, which is otherwise in very good order, and a full repaint will be needed. The top is good for patterns, as is th passenger compartment leather. The rumble seat leather is poor.

The car carries all its original lighting equipment, the factory supplied bumpers will need replating and there is a scrape at the bottom of the right front fender.

This very original Springfield Ghost could restore into a superb motorcar, ready for concours or touring events. It is eligible for activities with the Silver Ghost Association, The Rolls-Royce Owners Club and the Classic Car Club of America as well as most national antique car clubs in America.
