CIRCA 1924 STANLEY STEAMER SEVEN PASSENGER SDAN

Details
CIRCA 1924 STANLEY STEAMER SEVEN PASSENGER SDAN

Chassis No. not known
Grey.

Engine: two cylinder, double acting, 20 bhp, pumps gear driven off rear axle; Brakes: mechanical, internal expanding; Suspension: semi-elliptic spings front, full elliptic springs rear. Left hand drive.

The Stanley was America's best known and longest lived steam automobile, and the car on offer here represents the last year of full, albeit small, production of the marque.

Due to long storage there is surface rust on the hood. Fenders and runningboards are straight and paint on the aluminum body is poor. Upholstery is intact for patterns during restoration.

This car will need a full restoration in order to bring it to working order and acceptable cosmetic appearance.
