The matt opaque ground overlaid in brilliant blue and acid etched with a scantily draped Bacchus holding a goblet, seated in a chariot drawn by two leopards, beside a youth holding a ewer; the reverse with a classical figure in a chariot drawn by four goats and driven by a putto, flanked by anthemion all between bands of key-pattern and false gadroons, the neck with bands of key-pattern, lappets and scrolls enriched with a wide gilt band, the rim and foot gilt, inclusion in neck, some wear to gilding
