A RARE HUANGHUALI AND SERPENTINE WINE TABLE WITH A DRAWER AND DEMOUNTABLE LEGS, JIUZHOU
17TH CENTURY

The beveled serpentine panel of soft green tone with swirling patterns reminiscent of mountain scenes set into the thick rectangular frame with 'ice-plate' edge above a beaded front apron with a central drawer and apron-head spandrels, the end of each foldable apron with a pivot point, the demountable legs fluted and lobed, with original brass feet coverings, joined by four stretchers on each short side, the top two meeting the transverse braces on the underside
