A FINE ZITAN LUOHAN BED, LUOHANCHUANG
17TH CENTURY

The powerfully proportioned bed with rectangular frame enclosing a soft-mat seat and with 'ice-plate' edge above an elegant concave waist and a wide convex apron, supported on bold C-form legs terminating in hoof feet, each plain side railing pieced from smaller strips and abutting either end of the undecorated back railing, all with rounded corners, the wood of rich color and finely figured grain
