Each gnarled tree bearing coral 'peaches' of varying size, as well as a profusion of dark green serpentine leaves, issuing from a ground of turquoise and coral chips scattered within the top of the quadrilobed gilt-metal jardiniére raised on ruyi-head supports and cast around the sides with leafy meander incorporating lotus blossoms and the bajixiang to form a border around each of the four dark green jade plaques carved with a lotus spray, the top of the flat rim cast with foliate scroll, some cracks to trunks and branches
