SIGNED DING, SEAL OF DING ERZHONG AND DATED GUANGXU RENYIN YEAR, CORRESPONDING TO 1902

Of rounded rectangular shape, unusually painted on one side with a group of children supporting a gigantic peach, three of the children holding banners and a lantern, also with a single dated inscription and the seals Ding and Erzhong, the other side painted with the more usual rockwork, vessels and flowers below a lengthy five-line vertical inscription, including the date and seals of the artist, minute mouth nibbles 2½in. (6.4cm.) high, stopper
