WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK INCISED WITHIN A RECTANGLE, 18TH CENTURY

The graceful figure shown holding a square cup aloft in her left hand, wearing long robes tied with a knotted cord and draped with a long scarf falling in crisp folds to the cloud base, the face well modeled beneath hair drawn up into a coiled topknot dressed with beads and flowers, the back incised with a double-gourd kiln mark, Fujian Dehua, and the Wanli mark, all under a milky white glaze
