A PAIR OF PAINTED ENAMEL BOWLS

Painted on the deep, rounded sides in famille rose against a bright lemon-yellow ground with writhing dragons emerging from clouds hovering above a band of detached ruyi heads and enclosed by narrow scroll bands at the rim and foot, the interior decorated in famille rose against a white ground with a central double peach spray surrounded by the wufu amidst clouds below black and scroll bands, the bases with phoenix medallions, minor restoration to one 6in. (15.3cm.) diam. (2)
