Since 1900 there were well over 130,000 games pitched to a decision in the major leagues through 1958. From "Noodles" Hahn on July 12, 1900 through new Hall of Famer Jim Bunning, on July 20th 1958, there were exactly one hundred no hitters pitched. This lot contains seventy- three photographs of seventy-five of the ninety pitchers who accomplished this greatest feat in baseball including Noodles Hahn, Christy Mathewson, Cy Young, Addie Joss, Chief Bender, Joe Wood, Ed Walsh, Ed Cicotte, Ernie Shore (with babe Ruth), Walter Johnson, Howard Ehmke, Dazzy Vance, Carl Hubbell (illustrated), Wes Ferrell, Johnny Vander Meer, Bob Feller, Bob Lemon, Allie Reynolds, Carl Erskine, Sal Maglie and Don Larsen (in the 1956 World Series).
