EARLY JOE DIMAGGIO GAME BAT
A model 125 Louisville Slugger game bat of Joe DiMaggio circa 1938/39. One of the earliest known game bats of this Yankee Hall of Famer. The bat has DiMaggio's facsimile signature on the barrel without the word "genuine", dating the bat between 1936 and 1940. The bat was given to the consignors father by Joseph Stevens Jr. (grandson of concessionier Harry M. Stevens) in 1939. The bat is in excellent uncracked condition.
