ALEXANDER CARTWRIGHT LETTERS
Two letters of Alexander Cartwright, the true inventor of the game of baseball. Both are the onion skin, handwritten copies from Cartwright's own files. The paper acted as a reverse carbon paper to exactly produce a copy as the person wrote. The signatures are large with Cartwright's usual flourishes. Cartwright is one of the rarest of Hall of Fame autographs. (2)
