The plates depict women in various activities, clothed, half-dressed and nude. The images include a nude woman descending steps, a clothed woman rising out of a chair, a nude woman throwing water from a bucket, a nude woman walking with a baby, a clothed woman reclining, a nude woman drinking tea, a nude woman wearing sunglasses ascending steps and a nude couple strolling with a Japanese fan, among others.
